Thank you for finding Safety Work Clothes. We are a t-shirt printing and embroidery company who takes safety to its highest standards. Our parent company Broken Arrow Wear was purchased in 1998 and since that day we have upheld high safety standards. We only use screen printing inks and screen cleaners that are safe for our employees to handle and be around. We don’t use any chemicals that are flammable or otherwise dangerous. As with most organizations, we do have a few cleaning agents that are more dangerous than others, and we use proper handling and ventilation to ensure our employees have the safest work environment possible. Why do we tell you all this? We make safety in our shops easy and we want to help you make safety easy also.
There are a number of products in the screen printing business that can be harmful to employees. We have chosen to not offer many of these services as our employee safety is more important than making those extra few dollars. We are experts at what we do offer and we offer exceptional products with unparalleled quality.
Safety is a process that has to be lived every day. You can’t just be safe when the fire inspector is onsite or when your safety manager is watching. You must make safety a habit and live it all day, every day.
Here are some safety tips
- Point out the small safety incidents before they become large safety crisis.
- Know what you are doing, and ask questions if you aren’t familiar with a new task.
- Don’t talk on your cell phone while driving.
- New Iowa law, don’t read or write texts while driving.
- Wear the proper safety equipment at all times.
- Wear safety equipment at home.
- Teach others proper safety procedures when you see someone not following
said procedures.
